The Active & Medical Headline It!® Versions
are made of High Tech Wick Wear.
The perspiration is pulled into the liner;
oils and salts are filtered out,
and clean water evaporation is released.
Layer One
The SMS material is similar to the material used in surgical caps and gowns. It has 1-3 microns per square inch and traps the oils, salts, and odors in the liner, not in your headwear item. The liners are disposable after 14 days.
Layers Two & Three
Layers 2 & 3 are made of Spunlace material, which holds up to 5 times its weight in sweat. The moisture transport system pulls the sweat away from the head, and evaporates continuously, regulating the core body temperature.

"I used the Headline It product at the Beijing Olympics because the heat and humidity were so high. The liner kept sweat from dripping into my eyes, and I had the best show jumping performance of my career. I won the riding event of the pentathlon at the Olympics.
